Vie di Romans is one of our favorite Italian producers, crafting a variety of excellent wines in Friuli. The Dessimis bottling is a pinot grigio fermented with some skin contact for added depth, texture, and structure. Crisp dry wildflower aromas, mineral and citrus elements, and a touch of tannin integrate harmoniously for an exceptional bottle to pair with clams, mussels, swordfish, or halibut. While showing nicely already, the Dessimis will continue to develop in the cellar another five to ten years.
