This is Dora Forsoni’s over-performing “entry-level” red, a very classic Tuscan sangiovese. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, stewed tomato, and subtle basil and rose petal. Palate follows suit, adding a savory and salty herbal element and some grippy peppery tannin.
