The passion project of Japanese-born sommelier and oenologist Koji Nakada and his wife Jae Hwa Park, Domaine Lou Dumont has been impressing Burgundy-fans since 2000. Their Bourgogne blanc makes a strong case for their terroir-driven house style, showcasing the tense mineral verve of the 30-plus year-old vines in Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Beaune, and Puligny from which their fruit is sourced. Excellent as a stand-alone sipper, aperitif, or paired with crudo or raw oysters, this one really delivers for lovers of great mineral-driven white Burgundy.
Certified organic and sustainable. 100% chardonnay. 30-plus year-old vines. 17 months in French oak, 30% of which is new, followed by one month in stainless steel tank before bottling. Grapes sourced from Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Beaune, and Puligny, Burgundy, France.
