Domaine L’Ecu “Granite” Muscadet 2021
Loire valley legend Fred Niger of Domaine L’Ecu makes three distinct bottlings of Muscadet in plots of varying mineral composition. Maybe its just the history of our Rockland location, but we’re partial to his “Granite” cuvée. Showing distinct crystalline minerality and bright lemon zest, this pairs beautifully with raw Maine oysters, sea scallops, purist sushi preparations, or goat cheeses.
Fun fact: Domaine L’Ecu is imported by Paul Chartrand Imports, who has imported strictly organic wines for almost 40 years, and had his office in the same building as Fog for about 25 years!
50-year old vines, farmed organically, and Demeter-certified biodynamic.
