Domaine de L'Harmas Chateauneuf du Pape 2022
Classic full-bodied and intense Chateauneuf du Pape red brimming with black and blue berry fruit and an array of herb and spice elements. Blackberry, plum, and leather all make an appearance, layered throughout with rosemary, nutmeg, clove, and wet stone. Fermenting and aging in cement, rather than oak, makes this bottling less tannic and much more approachable in its youth than many comparable comparable Rhone valley wines.
Certified organic. 70% grenache, 30% mourvèdre. 70+ year-old vines. Fermented in cement, and aged one year in cement, no oak used. Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Rhone Valley, France.
