Corta y Raspa "La Charanga" 2019
La Charanga is 100% Palomino Fino from Cadiz, Andalucia, but its not a fortified sherry, but rather a dense and satisfying table wine. There’s a crisp mineral edge, a tinge of sherry-nuttiness, and a firm round texture imparted by a nine-month stay in very old oak casks. We find this to be a super versatile wine, holding plenty of interest enjoyed on its own, but its also remarkably well-suited to anything from shellfish to charcuterie or firm cheeses.
Hand-harvested, native yeasts, 9 months in very old casks which were once used for Manzanilla sherry.
