Burgess "Contadina" Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

$40.00

We are thrilled whenever we can offer wines with some maturity. Typically for Napa cabernet, the real party starts 5 or 10 years from bottling, at minimum. The Burgess 2016 Contadina is ready to shine and will continue to develop nicely for another decade or two for those with patience and cellar space. In 2025, this bottle is showing a gracious integration of ripe cherry and cassis notes interlaced with accents of mesquite, sage, vanilla, and suede-smooth tannins. With great structure and balance, this bottle shows exceptional value comparative to other prestigious Napa wines.

90% cabernet sauvignon, 6% petit verdot, 4% malbec. 22 months aging in oak, 15% new French oak, 85% neutral French oak. Howell Mountain, Napa, California, USA
